Our mission is to make it easier for both immediate and extended family members to stay connected, communicate, and share what matters most: stories, photographs, values, milestones, and meaningful moments. As we continue to grow, we plan to also offer tools and guidance to help you prepare for life’s many stages, including legacy planning and memory preservation.
Where We Started
I’m Shane Welch, the founder of Eternal Family Legacy. The idea for this platform first came to me in the summer of 2023 while I was working in a custom wood shop. It started as a simple thought, but the more I explored it, the more I realized just how many families could benefit from a better way to stay connected across generations.
Over the years, I’ve seen how quickly stories, memories, and values can fade when there isn’t a meaningful way to preserve them. Life moves fast. What used to be passed down in long conversations around the dinner table now risks being lost in the blur of packed schedules and digital distractions.
Eternal Family Legacy was born from a desire to change that. I wanted to create a space where families can reflect, connect, and share the things that matter most – not just for today, but for generations to come.

This profile can be built and updated over time – documenting your life, sharing meaningful moments, and preserving your legacy. Whether you’re capturing stories now or planning for the future, your profile can serve as a living record for generations to come.
You can display your QR code in any way that’s meaningful to you.
As part of your membership, we include a complimentary granite marker that can be kept at home or used on a headstone. But your QR code isn’t only for memorial purposes! It can be added to family trees, memory books, keepsakes, and more. It’s a powerful way to ensure that your story is accessible to loved ones, now and forever.
